WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY INVITATIONS?

RSVP DATES

Typically I would advise a date of no later than 2 months prior to your wedding day to receive responses by. This allows time for you to make those last adjustments to your day, and also create your wedding day stationery.

 
 

How long does an order take?

Invitations

These take between 4-6 weeks to dispatch. Rush orders can become available depending on how busy the studio is. A digital proof is sent in approx. 7-10 days after your order has been accepted and I have received the wording and all relevant information for your invitations. I have a handy wording guide I’ll send through to you once you’re booked in.

ON THE DAY STATIONERY

These typically take up to 4 weeks to dispatch. A digital proof is sent in approx. 7-10 days after your order has been accepted and I have received the wording and all relevant information for your day stationery

RUSH ORDERS

The fee for this is £100 and the order would dispatch in approx. 2 weeks from the order date. This depends on your order complexity and what is achievable in the time frame. Please get in touch for more details! This service availability is dependant on the schedule in the studio.

 
 

do you ship overseas?

Lucy March Studio is based in Chester & North Wales in the UK, but I happily ship items overseas and love working with couples all over the world.

Delivery Fees

£10 UK Delivery (Royal Mail next day tracked as standard)

£30 International Delivery (DHL Express approx 5 days)

Note: if ordering signage such as welcome signs or tables plans, the international delivery fee increases to £50.

When ordering from overseas, you may be subject to customs fees depending on your country. Please research these charges prior to ordering.

Delays with delivery are outside of my control, however I will do my best to chase any delayed parcels as best I can.

Do I still need a physical invitation when texting is easier?
I would whole-heartedly encourage physical invitations for such a big life event like your wedding. Not only does having a physical invitation make the whole occasion feel super special, it gives your guests a taste for the type of wedding they will attend along with a peak at your chosen theme and colours.

Having a physical invitation also can help prompt your guests into action - you can’t avoid a beautiful invitation on your coffee table but you can very easily misplace or forget to reply to a text or an email *puts megaphone down*

Do you ship overseas?
Yes! All items can be shipped worldwide except large on-the-day signage such a welcome signs or table plans. I’m happy to create digital artwork for these larger items for you to print locally and I can help advise how to do that.

Do you have a minimum order?
The minimum order quantity for invitation orders is 30. This covers my design time and print set up costs.

Can you design our on the day stationery to match our invitations?
Yes! All of the 12 house collections can be made into matching on-the-day stationery such as menus, place names, ceremony programmes, vow books and signage. Please browse each design page to see how they all look!
